Boating in the state of Missouri is under the control of the Missouri Water Patrol. Missouri state law requires every motorboat operator born after January 1, 1984 to be licensed before operating a boat on Missouri waters. The successful completion of a state-approved Boating Safety Education Course is required before you can become licensed.
